The Florida Gators basketball team plays home games in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, more popularly referred to as the "O-Dome".  Ground broke for the O'Connell Center in 1977 and it opened 3 years later in 1980.  At a cost of $14 million, the O'Connell Center was a modern, state-of-the-art facility that has undergone recent renovations to keep up with changing needs for the venue.
